Thank you for your interest in OfficeMax's sixth annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report, Living Values 2011. This report provides key information outlining our strategic approaches and fundamental principles as they apply to each of the five areas of CSR on which OfficeMax focuses. In addition, we have published an executive summary that spotlights our performance and new developments for 2011.

 

I am pleased to report that, in 2011, the company continued to make important strides in its CSR initiatives. These include advancement of our environmental stewardship, continued promotion and understanding of diversity and inclusion, a strengthened financial and volunteer commitment to our communities, and expansion of OfficeMax associate engagement.

 

Finally, I am proud of OfficeMax’s achievements in corporate compliance during the year. We are proud to have been recognized by the Ethisphere Institute, the leading business ethics think-tank, as one of the 2012 World’s Most Ethical Companies.
