Australasia: Outreach

Australasia: OutreachIn 2007, our operations in Australasia – comprising our interests in Australia and New Zealand – partnered with Barnardos, Australia’s leading child welfare agency, to launch “Max e Grants.” Max e Grants is a small grants program open to schools that work with disadvantaged children who are struggling to fully participate in the education system.

With the support of key suppliers, OfficeMax pledged a minimum of $125,000 towards Max e Grants to assist individual children with basic yet important needs such as schoolbooks, tutoring, uniforms, equipment, and school activities. Grants are available in denominations of $100 to $5,000 and can be applied for online at www.bmaxe.com.au.
