Thank you for your interest in OfficeMax's fifth annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report, Living Values 2010. This year, in order to conserve resources while still providing key information, we have taken a slightly different approach to our reporting. We have created a web-based repository outlining our strategic approaches and fundamental principles as they apply to each of the five areas of CSR on which OfficeMax focuses. In addition, we have published an executive summary that spotlights our performance and new developments for 2010.
I am pleased to report that, in 2010, the company continued to make important strides in its CSR initiatives, despite a challenging economic climate. These include continued reduction of our carbon footprint, acceptance into the U.S. EPA's SmartWaySM Transport Partnership program, continued success with our targeted philanthropic approach, and our highest score to date on the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index.
