OfficeMax Charitable Foundation

As a separate, nonprofit entity backed by OfficeMax^® the Charitable Foundation supports K-12 education in our communities. The Foundation reviews donation requests from nonprofit organizations, sponsors a Title 1 school in the Chicagoland area and supports OfficeMax partners such as Adopt-A-Classroom and the Kids in Need Foundation.

Grants to Partner Organizations

These grants are given annually to organizations that have a history of partnership with the Foundation.

Partner School Program

In an effort to better support the Chicagoland area, the OfficeMax Charitable Foundation partnered with the United Way in 2011, to support a Community School Initiative at Freedom Middle School with the support of Youth Crossroads. The Foundation has pledged $1 million over 3 school years to improve student and teacher achievement.
